Taryn Gordon

Taryn-Gordon.jpgTaryn qualified in 1998 from the University of Brighton and has worked in both the NHS and private sector for 11 years before taking up the joint role of Clinical Podiatry Manager and Senior Lecturer at Brighton University.  In 2012 she joined the academic team full time to concentrate on research and academic developments.

Taryn’s clinical area of expertise is in the field of nail surgery and infection control and she is responsible for leading the undergraduate teaching in this field.  She is a member of the Hospital Infection Society and also attends the Nail Surgery Expert Reference Group and is currently actively engaged in research for both these areas of clinical speciality.

Taryn's main other interests involve sport, generally up a mountain or in/on the sea.
